• Furman University Art Scholarships. This form of scholarship is awarded on the basis of portfolio submissions. Only prospective students must submit portfolios to the head of the Department of Art for an Early Decision by November 15 or a Regular Decision by January 15. • The George Snow Scholarship Fund. This scholarship’s main criterion is the financial need that binds all of the grants awarded through The George Snow Scholarship Fund.
• CTC Scholarships doe Students in the Arts. This is a merit-based scholarship for college-bound high school seniors attending school or being homeschooled from the state of Rhode Island. It offers a $250 merit-based scholarship for students who display interest in the arts such as dancing.
• United Divas Creative Scholarship. The United Divas launched this creative scholarship find in 2008 in order to help students who have financial disadvantages to continue their arts education. Application deadline for this scholarship is annually on June 10.
• Contemporary Representational Art Scholarships. This scholarship is for the Full-Time BFA Degree Program. Artists who applied to the Full Time Program are invited to apply for this scholarship. Submissions are restricted to original artwork only that has been completed within one year of the entry date. Application deadline for this scholarship is annually every 15th of July.
