  • William Morgan Poetry Award: This scholarship is only available to students of Illinois State University and recognizes talented undergraduate and graduate poets.
  • Ambrose D. Patullo Endowed Scholarship in Poetry: This writing scholarship is awarded to students of Michigan State University who have the desire to pursue teaching, studying or writing poetry.
  • Live Poets Society of New Jersey: The organization holds a poetry writing contest for high school students where the winner is awarded a $100 writing scholarship. The organization is also known for its annual anthology which features the best poems.
